You're a Hoot - Musical Mindfulness Activity

Welcome to the incredible world of mindfulness.

Your friend Hoot is inviting you to explore his night-time realm through music and meditation. Hoot is your friendly owl, and he is there to guide you through his magical mindfulness world.

Mindfulness is an experience we have when we are relaxed, calm and aware of our thoughts, feelings and emotions as they are happening. When we are mindful, we can experience imaginative worlds inside of our minds that inspire us to create new things and see the world in new and exciting ways.

Practising mindfulness helps us to stay calm in uncomfortable situations, relaxed when we are nervous, and helps us to think with clarity even when we might feel angry and upset. Mindfulness helps us to feel forgiveness, gratitude, love, and joy.

This musical mindfulness activity is to be enjoyed more than once, and the more often you practice this activity, the more fantastical and elaborate your imaginative experiences will become.

Find a peaceful spot to relax and listen to the special mindfulness music that is included in this fun activity. Lay down or sit comfortably in a place that is clean, dry, and cozy.

Your Activity Here

  • A speaker or headphones to listen to the musical sounds
  • Comfortable clothing
  • A place to sit or lay down that is clean and dry
  • A pen and your activity sheet, (see the button)
